This is an idea that applies to all artists and designers - the concept of taking the risk to reap the rewards. The problem is that it's difficult to approach art without some element of risk-taking, but perhaps that is why the end results, when positive, are so much more rewarding. Working as a creative, there is always room for mistakes and failure. So many of my peers have chosen to follow a safer path in their careers, one that promises a regular salary, regular hours, and a regular lifestyle. Sometimes I wonder if maybe I have too rashly decided to take the plunge, but I suppose that is something I will have to see for myself.
